Standing Sunflower Trio

The largest thing we make. Three sunflowers, each head worked petal by petal in two tones so the yellow deepens towards the middle, with a dense brown centre coiled in tight rounds. They sit at three different heights on stems wrapped the whole way down in green chenille, with ribbed leaves wired out along them, and the three stems root into a thick moss-green base that holds the piece upright on its own - no pot, no water, nothing to fill. It stands on the floor rather than on a table, roughly waist height, and the base is about the width of a dinner plate. It goes in a corner, beside a sofa, at the foot of a staircase or either side of a stage. This is a week's work rather than an afternoon's, so order it well ahead. Stem height, the number of heads and the base colour can all be changed - tell us the height you want it to finish at and we build the stems to suit.
